Beacuse Java is pretty lame most of the time and just seems to always be unstable in one way or another...

I've learned this, but still... to have it freeze my computer to try to run a game of scrabble... but i can play MMOs with little to no problem.

about java. uhm. tried it on firefox and tried reinstalling all that java applet stuff? IE sucks.

just look through all your settings and mess around with stuff, you should get it running alright.
